Christopher Mawhorter

 

Chris started as the Associate Employment Specialist at RCAM in October, 2013. He works with Alla and Jacqueline to help newly-arrived refugees search, apply, and interview for jobs, as well as network with local employers to find openings in Lynn and surrounding communities. In addition, he provides follow-up support to help refugees retain jobs, learn U.S. work culture, and make plans to advance their careers. Prior to joining the RCAM staff, he served as a "Gordon in Lynn" intern under Becky Jones, bringing Gordon College students to volunteer with the youth after-school program, where he noew spends one afternoon per week
